On social media, I share a lot about products but I don’t always go into detail about why I share the products and the company that I represent.
I don’t share because I have to or just in hopes of getting a pay check. I share them because I love them, use them, and stand for the intention, quality, ethics, values, and standards that go into the products and the company as a whole.
For the last decade I’ve been very into health and beauty. As a teen I took a course from my Naturopath’s clinic on how to make my own personal care products and some cosmetics. I actually made my own products, for a short period of time. While they were super minimalistic and clean, they didn’t have the results I wanted or got with my other products. It took up more of my time and they didn’t have a very long shelf life. In short, I just didn’t want to spend my time making products that didn’t actually work for me.
So I sadly went back to a lot of chemical filled, toxic products. I was trying to find more natural, cleaner options but again, nothing really worked for me, at least not enough to repurchase, let alone recommend.
As I made my way into the beauty industry, in school we had all of these kits to buy for each course. Most of the products were made in Canada but as I looked at the ingredient list on the massage oils, facial masks, creams, serums, makeup products, foot soaks, etc.. I saw all of those ingredients I was taught to look out for and avoid.
I didn’t want to use ANY of these products on myself or my clients.
When my sister came across Arbonne we realized we finally found a brand that didn’t have all of those harmful ingredients, fillers and so much more that we didn’t even know about.
I care about what I’m putting on my body, I care about what others are putting on their bodies, and I also care about the results I get, that my clients or friends/family get, along with what a company or brand actually stands for and what we’re voting for when we spend our money on something or somewhere.
So here it is, here’s why I chose to switch my brand from things that I was already buying from other stores to Arbonne.
Each product is developed with intention. Every ingredient in each product is there for a reason on the account that it follows our strict ingredient policy. Wether it be for nourishment, result, taste, texture, etc. They choose meaningful ingredients from nature, chosen for their effectiveness and safety. They continually raise their standards to find the perfect balance between what is pure and what is efficacious.
All of the products are safe and nontoxic. Arbonne is vigilant about the newest research regarding chemicals to ensure they’re being mindful and cautious from formulation and beyond. They proactively search for pure, clean botanical ingredients. Whenever new research is made available in the industry and scientific community that proves an ingredient is no longer the best choice and/or does not align with our values and safe ingredient standards, those ingredients are phased of products to be reformulated ever better.
Their core commitment is to provide effective products that deliver a true benefit. As trailblazers of a 40 year old company, we educate, empower and inspire people to make better choices for the beauty, health and wellness of their communities, families, and friends.
Arbonne goes way beyond the nearly 1,400 ingredients restricted for use by the European Union and the several hundred by the US FDA. As I’ve been around this company for 10+ years now, I’ve seen the evolution of values & standard always improving. They don’t claim to be perfect, but they’re always doing the best they can with what they know. Always striving to learn and do better. In my opinion, that is my definition of perfection, if there ever was one. And in my experience, they always do the right thing.
What I align with most about Arbonne, is that it’s not just about us humans and product vanity. Arbonne is and has always been vegan and cruelty free for the animals, + carbon Neutral and on our their way to becoming Zero Waste for the planet.
As a Certified B Corporation, Arbonne is all about holistic wellness. For the people, the animals, and the planet. That is the priority, above any profit.
